This Privacy Policy explains how Drop Out Trades ("we," "us," "our"), operator of Trade Matrix Syncer, collects, uses, and shares information when you use tradematrixsyncer.com and the associated web application (the "Service").
The app stores your trades, connected-account data, custom rules, streak history, mistakes, intentions, and similar working data in your browser's local storage so that it persists across sessions on that device and browser. This data lives on your device; it is not automatically synced across multiple devices. Clearing your browser data or using a different browser/device will not carry this data over.
The optional Trade Matrix Syncer browser extension reads account balance, profit/loss, and fill data that is already visible in your own logged-in Tradovate browser tab, and relays it into your Trade Matrix Syncer account tab. This exists because Tradovate's official API does not support third-party reads for prop-firm and evaluation accounts, even with valid login credentials. The extension never accesses, stores, or transmits your Tradovate username or password, and it never places, modifies, or cancels trades. It only runs on trader.tradovate.com and the Trade Matrix Syncer domain, and the data it relays stays within your own account.
Certain features (session planning, trade grading, mistake analysis, weekly review, psychology coaching, and news-impact analysis) send relevant data you provide — such as trade details, notes, or questions — to Anthropic's Claude API through our own server-side proxy in order to generate a response. This content is used only to generate the response you requested and is not used by us to train any model.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of service providers, each acting under their own privacy and security obligations, solely to operate the Service:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We retain account and subscription records for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Data stored locally in your browser remains until you clear it or it is overwritten. You may request deletion of your account and associated server-side records at any time (see Section 8).
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, including transmitting data over encrypted connections and using serverless functions to keep API keys and secrets off the client. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@tradematrixsyncer.com. You can also disconnect a prop account or clear local app data directly within the app or your browser at any time.
The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The Service is operated from and intended for users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your home country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
